Hello all. I would just like to point out to all United Nation delegates that The Constitutional Monarchy of Indigozall has created a resolution that needs your immediate attention. This resolution calls upon all UN members to re-evaluate their government's goals to push for a more stable democracy. I believe that this resolution covers all angles and is not too forceful. I would greatly appreciate you taking a look at the resolution and voting for it. This resolution deserves to be considered by the entire international body. If there are any questions, comments or concerns, please don't hesitate to telegram me.

Much thanks,
The Constitutional Monarchy of Indigozall

The People's Control
A resolution to increase democratic freedoms.

Category: The Furtherment of Democracy Strength: Strong Proposed by: Indigozall
Description: The Constitutional Monarchy of Indigozall believes that there is a problem involving democratic rule, civil rights and political freedom within many nations who are so quick to call themselves members of the United Nations. Many nations turn a blind eye to the will of their people and the reaction of the international body. Indigozall believes that we must stress a democratically elected government and a minimum level of civil rights and political freedoms that must be met, or with intentions clearly shown to meet, before a nation is fit to call itself a member of our highly established international body. It is true that many vulnerable under-developed nations and its people have little means to effect a change toward freedom and democracy on their own. However, Indigozall, as a member of the United Nations, sees it as our duty to promote the values of freedom and democracy throughout the world. We believe that our regional delegates should create a clear and outlined timeline of implementation for this plan to effectivly work. Additionally, Indigozall bears in mind the individual key figures in each nation and wishes that they too be apart of the process in bringing the nations of the world toward a stable democracy. The people of the world have lost their voice and their power, and it is up to the United Nations to help them gain that control back.

Indigozall proposes that all members who are apart and are wishing to become apart of the United Nations have met the level of political freedoms and civil rights by “some”, or have made their intentions clear to the regional delegates, of getting up to that level and to encourage a democratic government in their nation. Furthermore, all nations who have “outlawed” political freedom and civil rights or have made it clear that they are against a democratic way of rule, are going against the stable democracy that the United Nations is trying to convey, and therefore should be suspended from the United Nations until their level of rights and freedoms is increased or their pro-democracy intentions are made clear to the regional delegates.

It is clear in the United Nations charter that one of our many priorities is “to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom”. How can we live up to this promise by accepting nations who so blatantly violate this goal? Indigozall for one, seed a direct contradiction and something must be done.

Upon reading this proposal two words come to mind, Game Mechanics. This proposal seeks to limit who can be a member of the UN thereby changing the way it functions in the game. Therefore I cannot support this proposal.

Citizen Rule Required
A resolution to increase democratic freedoms.

Category: The Furtherment of Democracy
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Aschen

Description: This is a resolution to require all nations to grant self-rule to all citizen on some level. Local, Regional, or National is no matter, just so long that all citizens have some say and control over the way they are governed. These measures would promote international peace and serve as a deterent to the formation of so called "rouge nations" that to this day threaten all nations.
