I ask all UN Delegates to approve this proposal that I submitted. It suggests that their should be a white history month to go alongside black history month and hispanic heritage month. Surely, this would be an advancement in equal rights.

Only if the UN had already passed a black history month or a hispanic heritage month. Care to help me out and point out which NS UN resolution adopted these months?

I say we have a world heritage month where every racist of every color gets locked in a small dark concrete bunker together next to a pulp processing plant, and everyone else connects through free internet to enjoy each other's cultures. People who are neither racist nor particularly aware of other cultures would have the chance to win a month long stay in a random other country be it Sudan, or the USA.

But really, isn't the UN a relic of white european "international" culture, built on traditional european culture making every month heritage month for european descendents?

Um, y'know, when white history gets largely ignored by educators and mainstream academics alike, then we'll talk.

Don't forget that in a world of specificity and racism, they don't have white skin. More of a tan, I think they say. But tan whites are AOK.

The postmodernist would reject any attempt to promote one history over another, regardless of what race, social group, or other classification. I ask that the delegates and member nations ignore this, just as I would ask them to ignore a similar proposal establishing People Named Steve History recognition month. To begin assigning special months to special groups will only uncork a Pandora's Box of racial tension, and the United Nations has no need to be at the center of such a mess.

I do not know if this would modify game mechanics, but perhaps could we ban ALL _____ history months, in exchange for one month where nations celebrate individual heritages, and learn about other nations?

I doubt it would be a game-mechanics issue. No current UN resolution deals with the topic, and it doesn't force the moderators into any undue stress, nor does it require any new code. I think it's a vastly superior idea.

This proposal encourages division along ethnic lines and therefore, will not be supported by Drabikstan. Also, please define "white"? Does this refer to people of Germanic, Slavic and Caucasion descent? Or is it broader? The term "white" itself is too broad as many different ethnic groups share similiar skin colouring.
