Help Kill the Can Kings!

I have recently entered this proposal for the UN Delegates to approve. I find it disgusting that some lazy idiots who can't be bothered to walk over to the bin ten metres in front of them should get away with it while others should suffer.

So here it is! Delegates - please support it! :)

The following address will send you to the proposal page, from there you won't have far to look:

"Ban Littering
A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.

Category: Moral Decency Strength: Mild Proposed by: Canary Land
Description: The situation in towns all over the world is a disgrace.

The idea of this resolution is simple. Ban all litering in member nations. Anyone not adhering to this resolution should face a hefty charge.

If necessary more bins should be put in place so that in all well populated and busy areas there is never one far away.

Approvals: 8 (Canary Land, Spaceblunt, Proletarian Continents, Lord Wallace, Tupperland, Elloland, Usermaatre, Maba-se)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 133 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Sun Jun 20 2004"

I understand how this issue can be very frustrating, but I really don’t see it as an international issue. Local government is best placed in dealing with these types of issues. Secondly, you are making an assumption that all towns and cities over the world are a disgrace because some nations might have very strict local laws.

A. Even I believe that this is too local an issue for the UN to be dealing with (and that's saying something)

B. This should be environmental not moral decency.

C. There are far more pressing environmental issues to deal with.

You're right that it should be environmental, but wrong that it's unimportant or unfitting for the UN.

I support this resolution; every little bit helps. Also, if we don't clean up our world, who will?

You'll have my approval if I ever log into my UN nation and go find this proposal... lol

The reason its not environmental is because i would have had to enter a business that suffers - and i didn't think any obviously did - so i made it moral decency.

You can just set environmental proposals to harm all businesses equally.
