Upon the passing of this resolution...

-All member nations will be required to donate a portion of their land or sea territory to the UN.

-These donated spots of land will become nature preserves, and will be administrated by the UN.

-No corporation, international assembly, or lunatic fringe group will be allowed access to these reserves unless given express written consent by the proper UN department.

Honourable member of Elenan, whilst your sentiments are noble I don’t feel you have thought out the issue fully and the proposal does nothing at all to protect wildlife.

Apart from the fact the UN can’t just seize sovereign territory as previously mentioned there is no mention what this land is going to be used for. A government could ‘donate’ a nuclear wasteland if they wanted. Furthermore there maybe corporations who directly support wildlife programs, the word lunatic has not been defined in law, at least not in NS and therefore who decides what is a lunatic fringe group and finally, who in the UN is going to give this consent? The NS UN has no secretary general or even a security council.

I suggest the honourable member spends sometime looking over previous resolutions and read the sticky threads on the first page of the UN forum. Then do some research about wildlife preserves in RL and the international programs that currently exist for wildlife preserves.

It is not my intention to belittle what you have done since its clear you care about this issue, but rather to point out that a better proposal can be written and one that would actually help your agenda.

Respectfully

The UN will get not one square millimeter of Greenspoint land for any reason and any attempt to take our land will be met with a military response.

This proposal is flawed at many levels. We will not support it and we will urge every other nation to withold support as well.
