I recently voted in support of the proposal, but was shocked momentarily as the screen showed:
Esam's vote for Female Genital Mutilation has been noted.
I did not vote for Genital Mutilation!! I voted for the proposal that seeks to stop it! I wonder if the resolution's author created it for this very purpose?
Heh. All in all though, it is a good resolution and I urge members to endorse it.
1) Its automatic, the title of the proposal is " Female Genital Mutilation "
So " Esam's vote for Female Genital Mutilation has been noted " is fine. It just means the system saw that you voted what-ever way you did and your vote is added to the tally.
So don't stress, :wink:
2) On that note, I wonder how many people who voted " no " on the long ago past " Gay Rights " proposal said " WHAT THE ? " when their action resulted with a :
" ( Generic Nation ) vote for Gay Rights has been noted. "
3) Mu hu ha ha ha ! ( cough ) , moving on. :wink:
