Vote for the "Child Gambling Act of 2004!" This proposal will increase the incomes of U.N. countries. This excess money means more funding to schools, military, etc.

The Republic of Kazooland will not vote for anything unless those who are telling us to provide some sound and valid arguements to do so. Thank you.

There I gave you a stupid reason to vote for it. Are you happy Kazooland?

There is already a national issue on this very topic, and is therefore none of the UN's concern.

I agree with Cabinia.
There are at least two issues that deal with gambling, and one of thosee concerns child gambling.

Text of proposal:
Child Gambling Act of 2004

Category: Gambling; A resolution to legalize or outlaw gambling.
Legalize/Outlaw: Legalize

Proposed by: The Kwik-E-Mart

Description: Nations of the U.N,

I and my country have found through many years of research that gambling increases a nation's net income by at least 10% every year. This increase is only caused by adults, not children. Therefore if children are allowed to gamble, nations belonging to the U.N. will see there annual income heavily increase.

The following items will become law in the U.N. with this proposal:

1. Children the age of 3 and older may gamble.

2. Children the age of 8 and older may drink and smoke as they please while in the casino.

3. Child sections will be built on to all existing casinos within the U.N.

4. Children may keep all of their "winnings" that they recieve while in the casino.

However, adult(s) must accompany the children into and out of the casino.

Voting Ends: Thu Jun 17 2004

Ye gods. It's worse than I thought.

At some point a measure has to appeal to somebody, or it will never go anywhere. This one has something to offend everyone:

1) The national sovereignty lobby
2) The socialist anti-business lobby
3) The anti-gambling lobby
4) The anti-children's gambling lobby
5) The anti-alcohol lobby
6) The anti-alcohol for children lobby
7) The anti-smoking lobby
8) The anti-smoking for children lobby
9) The anti-smoking in public lobby

Cabinia is offended by this measure as members of #1,6,8 and 9.
