Someone help me out with this.

I am no longer in the U.N. because of poor resolutions. If a like-minded individual still in the U.N. could spearhead a proposal to eliminate all proposals that impose on the internal governing of nations I would be very inclined to rejoin. I am somewhere near athiesm, and fought every single resolution that came up involving christianity or christian values. I would also fight any resolution that involved any of my own values as no governing body can impose values on their member nations unless dealing with international relationships or basic human rights. I'm somewhat new to this and I know there are rules that may make a bill like this difficult, but somebody see if they can figure something out

There has been a great deal of discussion of this.

Firstly, no such proposal can be made, as it would constitute an infringement on game mechanics.

However, my new region for which I am recruiting is looking to consolidate governments who feel their sovereign rights are being tread upon by UN resolutions. Please consider moving to the NSSRC, and rejoining the UN. Also be aware that resolutions that have passed while you were out would not affect your country. (At least that is my understanding.)

actually, when you apply to the UN, I believe you are agreeing to following the existing and future resolutions.

Yes, you have to follow it in terms of the description, but yours stats won't be changed.

Hence why I said it doesnt "affect" the country.

You do have to abide by them, but it doesnt affect your stats.

But the issue which I think concerned the thread author was the actual laws, not their effect on stats.
