These are one or two ideas of mine for a nuclear arms reduction proposal in the works - input would be appreciated

Description - The nations of the world possess enough nuclear weapons to destroy humanity multiple times over

WHERAS
The building of nuclear weapons (nuclear proliferation) shall be ended with the passing of this proposal/resolution, and any nuclear weapons found to be built after this proposal's/resolution's passing shall be dismantled and destroyed

WHERAS
Keeping in mind that nuclear weapons have served successfully as deterrent to war, rather than destroy them all, all NSUN member nations possessing nuclear weapons will be required to dismantle and destroy a proportional amount of their weapons to the point that humanity cannot be wiped out with the then existing number of nuclear weapons

BUMP, I say

The nation of Gigatron, with the most revered Mothercore Central Processing Unit, supports this proposal, however we would welcome the total dismantlement of all Nuclear Weapons, worldwide, as their purpose is to destroy the maximum amount of humans, which is an unacceptable danger. The fact that this sort of weapon was invented, is unfortunately a typical behaviour of humans, who seek to destroy themselves more than anything else.
