Description: Whereas the United Nations has long been a supporter of Education around the world,

Whereas its member states are a polyglot mix of ethnicities, religions, and even practices as UN members,

Whereas it has been noted that many people do not even excercise their right to read:

The United Nations requires that all Member States set an example by actually reading proposals before they vote.

The effects of this legislation will be startling:

If people read, they may begin to understand. When people understand, they may be able to make informed choices. When the UN makes informed choices... better legislation is passed.



I won't even get in character for this. I do beleive this would fall into game mechanics. Although I would like a mod to comment :)

This resolution is not what I expected it to be. It is merely a proposal encouraging people to read proposals, the name suggested it was about improving world literacy.

Wow... and I thought it was supposed to point out that most legistators don't even read what they pass accept on.

Well, I didn't bother to read it, but I like the title.

Meh, I'd encourage ppl to read more - I cant stand the illiterate stupid morons at my school
