New proposal against UN regulations

OK, seriously, after 3 horrible proposals that were passed by the UN or about to be passed by the UN, I think it's time someone write a proposal to allow us to opt out of any resolution that the UN brings forth. There is no reason we shouldn't have the ability to opt out of anything or put reservations on things. Otherwise, if the UN member really want to be so powerful and rule the world like it seems to want to do, maybe someone needs to make a proposal that will put alll decision making authority on everything from flags, to names, to issues in control of the UN. It basically seems that's what is happening anyway.

I concur. The UN has been more and more infringing on the rights of nations to run their nations. I can understand some, such as human rights and environmental safety (to an extent). But when the UN is passing resolutions that tell us how our society works. Forcing UN members to go along with moral issues? Its insane! I oppose prostitution, UN legalises it. I oppose abortion, UN legalises it. I oppose euthanasia, UN legalises it. These are moral issues that have no place in the UN! Keep out these moral issues! Things like that should be for one nation, not all! And now they are trying to take away our right to defend ourselves against rogue nations with WMDs that will use them against us! I have my nuclear weapons as a deterent, not to go out nuking people. Now they're trying to take that away! Vote NO on the current resolution!

That would make the UN invalid and unable to enforce anything and so such a proposal would never reach the stages of resolution.

The only other way is to overthrow the UN. Which, of course, i would not advocate.
