Regime Change [Draft]

Description: An end to forceful regime change as a cause for war. Better causes must be supplied for invasion.

Distinguished Nations of the UN Assembly,

Recognizing that the UN is a multicultural, international organization and that all nations should be treated equally, just as their people should be,

Noticing how often regions and nations are invaded in the name of regime change,

Condemning endless bloodshed over petty disputes about how a government should be ran,

Declaring that no UN government shall be invaded by another UN government in the name of regime change and,

Demanding that all UN nations ensure that this legislation is enforced.

Note: Give me your thoughts. I want to know the type of proposal this should fall under. Thank you!

We reject your proposal. It is going to protect all dictators of the world. Taleban, Nazi or Saddam and other cruel regimes would NEVER HAVE BEEN REPLACED if this resolution would have been in place.

Sincerely yours

'Taleban, Nazi or Saddam'. Am I missing something?

A rather idiotic cover-all proposal. This is something that should be decided on an individual basis, not by a sweeping ban.

Thank for your comments, I would however like to clarify that I accidently ommitted the words as a cause for war. The Nazis were not brought to war on the basis of Regime change, they were brought to war due to their human rights violations, and their aggression. The Taliban was brought to war because they supported Terrorism and would not cooperate in finding terrorists in their nation. Iraq was brought to war on the pretext of Weapons of Mass Destruction. This would ban people from going "I don't like dictators, I'm attacking you." This ensures stability for governments. I am now editing my proposal to clarify this.
