I say there should be some reforms with the whole UN idea and all. I think the concept is good, but in reality it sucks. Instead of the UN being the only grounp of nations you can join there should be more. The UN is really not fit for dictatorships and iron fist consumerists, its way too liberal.
I think if there we other unities, something like an opposite UN, maybe the ACN(Allied Communist Nations) where people can make proposals that fit them. Anyone could make their own Unity, just like regions. It should say just like in all your regions,"Tired of life in the UN? Move to a new Unity today!".
I think people who are unhappy with the UN would be happy with this idea, the can start it and all and make role-played reforms for their unities. I know one thing, a corrupt dictatorship is not going to vote for "Reduction of Nuclear Weapons", they would vote against it. With so many countries doing whats right, those communisms are all left out. This way, they can make proposals like "Upgraded Mind Control Devices" and such.

I don't see why dictators should form an alliance to vote on matters of state, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a dictatorship? It would be a democracy of dictators! LOL

I see your point.....but dont you think its a good concept? There are more than one alliances in the world, you dont HAVE to be in the UN to be recognized by other nations. Well so what if it would be like a democracy of Communists! Actually, it probobly wouldnt be a democracy, because all the communists would vote "yes!" or "no!" to things that would interest them like "New forms of Torture". Then they could have their own forum area, and debate and role-play their own special ideas and all. I say the UN does not support all thecountries out there, and yet its called the United Nations!

You can have communist democracies but you can't have an officially recognised anti-UN.

First, please stop equating communism with evil dictatorships. The end point of the Marxist theory is a society where government has actually become unnecessary and no longer exists. What Stalin etc did was not communism, it was a corruption of Marxism.

Second, the mods have said that there isn't the capacity within the game mechanics to set up alternate UN-like organisations and there won't be. You'll have to wait for NS2 to set up alliances in-game, or you'll have to role-play them for the time being, with off-site forums etc.

Um, yeah. Someone clearly isn't bright enough to know what communism is.

It's against the rules to submit proposals that are about changing the way the game works. Read the announcement.
