I have authored a new proposal; it was born from the outrage concerning a resolution that is being voted on right now (I don't believe I need to clarify).
I have entitled it as the "Right of Nullification Act." It does not affect any law already on the books (If I understand correctly, we cannot change UN laws, or something along that line).
I will paraphrase it as a law that permits any region to reject a proposal viewed as "unconstitutional or morally revolting" in their "cultural, religious, or ideological" distinctions.
Sixty percent or higher of UN member states within a region must consent to rejecting a law, or otherwise it will go on the legal books of that region.
I urge you all to read over it, and if you agree with it, endorse it!
Regards,
Constantine, Federation of Slavotopia
