Rights of Abortion
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights Strength: Significant Proposed by: Drangonsile
Description: Right of Abortion.

Grounds that do not qualify for abortion.
1 No person who knowingly and willing engages in activities knowing that they are capable of pregnancy are not allowed to terminate the child

2 This is nullified if the life of the person is in danger beyond the average that all pregnant women face.
2.2 The average will be found by country because different countries shave different welfare.

Grounds that do qualify for abortion.
1 In the case that the person in question became pregnant through activities that were done against their will. For those of you who do not know what this means it means rape.

2 If the person who is in question has their life threatened beyond the average must follow these steps before they my resort to abortion
1 If possible the person in question must have the baby premature, using surgery paid by the local government.
2 If the chance of death to the person in question is above the birth risk average the person in question may resort to abortion

Misc.
1 If a nation, has put restrictions on the number of children a couple may have and the child that is being questioned breaks the limit then the couple must have the child unless it falls into grounds for abortion, once the child is born the child will be put up to adoption.

Written when the two line proposal appeared to be winning.

I had this for alittle while but desided to post it when the 2 liner with no info/details started to win...please debate it here, pass the word.

I kinda understand why you classified this human rights, but it probably should be put under moral decency, because it generally is assumed to decrease civil rights.

I think the distinction is made because, allowing abortion is permitting someone to do something therby granting them a "right" while making it illegal curtails this "right" and therefore is more consitant with moral decency.

What about unborn children diagnosed to have fatal, uncurable diseases?
