UN resolutions

Has anyone noticed that all UN rsolutions past the ballot. Every time people accept the Resolution in general. I dont want to be nagging, but I think its because the voting system is wrong and the resolutions making procedure isnt good. I suggest, the 3 states with the largest population have a veto. Also resolutions procedure should have a beginnning phase end an ending phase. Like in the first phase, we have the option to change and adopt the resolution. In the second phase we should have the option to accept or reject the Resolution. I really think it needs a change. Any other ideas on this. Looking forward to your replies.

except that not every resolution has been passed. it only looks that way because ns only records the ones that did.

What's broke is that people want to tell others what to do. The UN shouldn't be passing resolutions that tell someone what to do within their own country, it should be strictly limited to interaction between countries.

The problem, of course, is that the UN has no checks and balances. It is only limited by what its membership wish to do. Most of the older representatives here have come to terms with this, and have worked both with and around this fact.

the un can't help it, it was made that way. three of the possible options explicitly written in to it deal with drugs, gun control, and gambling. the un was built to meddle in countries internal affairs. it's not bad, it's just drawn that way.
