This proposal is now up to vote. It is absurd. Regardless of where anyone stands on abortion, this proposal is just a toned down way of legalizing abortion. If the women has the choice to get an abortion, and makes the choice to have one, then that legalizes. Even if the woman decides to not have an abortion, abortion is still legal. Why doesnt this guy, Vistadin, just say Abortion is Legal, instead of putting in a soft, happy way that would just hoodwink some of our less observant colleagues in the UN. He wrote the proposal this way so it wouldnt sound as harsh or definitive as a proposal saying, Abortion is Legal. This makes me so mad, and should make you mad also, regardless of whether you support abortion or not. Delegates have supported this because to them, it doesnt sound as harsh as a real proposal. I please ask you vote against it.
