I have made a proposal to the UN which I would like as many of the UN Delegates to vote for. This proposal is on page 12 of the link thats says list proposals. I will post the proposal below too so anyone can find it easily on that page. :

Advanced Training and Weapons

As time is going by, many nations are losing touch with the fact that criminal and terrorists are becoming more advanced in training and weapons while police and military forces fall behind. Our security is at a high risk and we must give our police officers and soldiers more advanced training and better weapons. With the training, police officers can dismiss things like hostage situations without killing someone. Military forces can be able to infiltrate enemy positions without being noticed with the right training and better weapons to take out anyone who does appose a threat to them. If this proposal is passed, then all UN states will be much safer. People can relax a lot more, knowing that there is a strong police force protecting them and an army to protect their nation. The advanced training can also cut down on friendly fire among military soldiers or Air Force pilots in the air.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please vote for this so it can be voted on by the entire UN.

*looks around for an action plan in the proposal and finds none*

Uh, sure, we're gonna get safer and have more peace of mind by doing nothing... Well at least if it was to ever become a resolution I wouldn't have to worry about any legislature to apease it...

Alright, for some reason, my proposal moved to page 12. Well if any UN Delegate does want to vote for it, it's on that page.

It seems to me that any national government that has a military would already be inclined to give those men and women serving their country the best possible training. I really don't see how this is any of the UN's business at all.

I urge all delegates to ignore this proposal and do not endorse it.

That is true, but these changes in a military and/or police force usually happen from any issues that you get for your country. As for myself, I have been given a large amount of issues about my police force and weapons but the rest of the UN may not have this. (Or at least most of them). Alot of times, in the International Incidents forum, alot of what you can do is rated on how strong your military already is, otherwise, you could just say things that are out of control, like giving yourself 1000's of nukes.

None of that works to make this something with which the UN should even be involved. How much training one particular nation gives its military is nobody's business. Heck, if the Alliance was planning on invading someone we sure wouldn't want to force them to build up their army first. That'd be dumb.
