Repeal of 40-hour Workweek Resolution

I have submitted a proposal for a resolution that would repeal the 40 hour workweek resolution.

Please take a look at it. I urge all UN delegates to support this proposal so that this resolution could come to a vote to all UN members.

I don't think you can repeal a resolution.

This is what was said by a game moderator concerning a proposal that wanted to repeal a resolution:
This is a repeal of an earlier proposal, which isn't allowed on the grounds that it's game mechanics. There's no mechanism to remove an old proposal.

Dammit...I really hate that resolution...and it's hurting more than helping.

I agree - that resolution was crap. Why don't people actually think about what they're voting for?!

At least it was much closer than some of the other stupid proposals that have gone through, only 100 votes or so apart. Maybe next time people will actually think about it!!

That's been the opinion of a few people here.
I didn't support that resolution either.

You may want to alert the moderators to delete it and apologize for sending it in, because repeals can get you expelled from the U.N.

Fuck, no wonder I got expelled.....and they said I had multiple nations!

At the real UN, they can repeal prior resolutions!!!

Resolutions that are no longer useful should be able to be repealed. The 40 hour workweek resolution being the first. If we cannot repeal back resolutions that do not work when applied whats the point in tring to create an orderly world?

We need a 3/4th majority rule in the UN, thats the only way to get things done so that we know most of the UN agrees on it. Anything else is halfassed.

Thats the same as a repeal, and wording a repeal would be much easier.
