I can not yet propose this because i do not have 3 other nations endorsing me. But here is my proposal and if anyone would endorse me i would greatly appriciat it.

If we accept the production of the hemp plant, the economy would greatly benifit from this as well as world hunger. Hemp also known as Marajuana is a great sorce of fabric rope that is made from the hemp plants stem. It also can be made into a cloth. Hemp is very inexpensive to produce and to harvest. Hemp is also edible and would lower world hunger. It can also be used to make a fuel. this would solve gas prices. It can also produce more money by the nation selling the flowers (buds) from the plant. Or for the countries that do not endorse the use of drugs could only raise male plants because they do not produce the flower (bud) that produces excess amounts of THC (the drug within the plant that makes you "High"). Though you can still smoke the male plants many wont and if they do they will find it will give you a very bad headache. Also legalizing the use of the hemp plant would lower crime 23% and the nations could concentrate on "Hardcore" drugs. Hemp can also be used for medical use.

With this in mind I say legalize Hemp for the people.

Hemp is marijuana with a negligible THC count - that is to say, looks just the same but you can smoke it all day and only get hoarse. Most nations that ban marijuana allow hemp provided it fits this requirement.

yeah hemp is used also for cattle feed because wen the cows eat it they do not get high because the thc count is very low. marajuan is hemp. its just a different name. Hash is also marajuana. its just a stronger kind. but my proposal is that marajuan its self is legalized for the use of fabric fuel cattle feed. it would be a great tax for the nations. and it has medical uses. and the countries that alow it in it can be used just to get high.

so you're proposing that some nations can allow drugs if they'd like to, but those who don't want to, don't have to?

So in the countries where marijuana is illegal, you'd have to eat a whole load of beef if you wanted to get high?

Man, I want to vote for this just to see the dilemma it'd pose for hippies.

Hemp is not Marijuana. Hemp has a low THC and is therefore a different plant. I too agree that hemp should be legalized for use because it can be used to make very cheap, durable paper.

If hemp (which is legal in the RL US) was so great for all these uses, then it'd be used as such.

Um, the purpose of UN Resolutions is to make clear and consise binding law upon the member nations... This is neither clear nor consise, in fact it acomplishes nothing whatsoever is it merely states that some can do it if they want... Though I'd admit, judging by many of the disagreeable moral defining resolutions of the past, I would certainly like it if they were written in this manner :lol:
