Proposal: Mother's Day

Description: It is hereby declared that the UN name the first sunday of every may Mother's Day, in order to honor those that brought us into the world.
This is a proposal to establish Mother's Day for NationStates. Our mothers deserve it. So please approve this proposal and if you can, tell other delegates you know about it.

But more importantly, how about Mother-in-Laws' Day? I'm sure our comrades in Bahgum would be most keen on the idea.
Indeed, in Bahgum we 'celebrate' our mothers in law for a week long festival from the 1st of June. The grand high mother in law has decreed that it is so, our people trembled and it was agreed.
However, it has now become tradition that the mother in law is sent on a week long holiday to foreign nations, which has become supremely popular with Bahgumians.
Our glorious leader is content that Mother in Law week is kept a strictly Bahgumian affair after all as he put it 'don't wany anybugger elses MILs over here, god knows what they'd teach other'.
So in the interest of world peace, we humbly request that only Mother Day is approved and no more.

Don't be silly Mothering Sunday is in March.
