Abolish Sweat Shop Labor Proposal

Description: As we all well know sweatshop labor has become prevalent within the more consumerist driven states. Though not all sweatshops are as terrible as some, the basic principles behind sweatshop labor are principles which UN Nations should not employ. Just as an example, in some nations sweatshop managers have been known to refuse bathroom breaks to employees causing them to have to urinate in a container they bring along with them to work and hide. In other cases they are not allowed to speak at all while on the job. Even besides the poor wages sweatshop labor is an infringement upon basic human rights and should be abolished completely.

In order to protect this resolution and UN nations working in accordance with it, UN Nations shall not be permitted to establish factories in non UN member nations.

Just because a nation doesn’t belong to the UN doesn’t mean they don’t live up to our standards in many ways. A proposal for minimal acceptable standards before a factory is established makes more sense.
