You can delete this after I get an answer or whatever, don't really care, I'm just curious... before I start posting....

Are you guys debating these ideas in real-world terms as real political issues....

Or are you just debating them as things within this game?

Affects alot on my view... in game it's I just mess around and have fun... however I care alot about politics in real life...

Real issues aren't generally discussed (ie: proposals to censure Bush for this-and-that will likely be deleted by the mods), but real evidence is used with moderate frequency (ie: "The US is one of the last First-World nations to maintain the death penalty," could be used in some debate). Basically, the UN forum is for UN proposals and resolutions; if you want to talk about real politics, General is typically the place for that. I'm not sure if that's entirely clear, but if you stick around for awhile you should be able to figure it out.

The issues debated here are those of concern for nations within this game. The idea is to play as a nation which you (the player) govern. The UN is like a governing institution, and these are resolutions which are under debate - they are not real world - but the creations of players or "governors" and their nations.
