Its moronic to spend money on this because the world will be out of oil in 40-50 years, so why waste money on this? I say if we are going to spend that money at all we put it into developement of more effecient and cleaner alternative fuel sources. I know some will say, but what about in the mean time, but think about this way do you want to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on something your not even going to use a few decades down the road. Its like buying a fleet of wooden warships when you know iron clad ships are waiting to be developed, wouldn't you just put that money towards developing the iron clad first. Now I suggest everyone change your votes or you will look real stupid, be threatend by terrorists, and school children will hunt you down and put bubble gum in your hair!

The vast majority of people actually reading this forum are already voting against, though generally for different reasons.

First we should have a resolution about conserving our oil and our other precious fossil fuels. Also, we need one about Earth Conservation in General, yet thats beside the point.
We are running out, and oil spills and leaks waste that precious oil. If we tighten up the tanking there wont be as much wasted oil and maybe itll last 50-60 years instead

We should conserve oil. Oil is also used to make plastic, something it would be difficult to do without. Hell, this computer is covered in plastic!

We should vote FOR the resolution, if not, we will just burn through the world's oil faster. And think of all the plastic that won't be made after oil spills waste oil. Think of the Plastic!
