Books are bad! Books are Doubleplusungood!

As everything is fireproof, we need more people like Benjamin Franklin of old. Firefighters! The salamander and the beatle, and those roaring great machines!

Books are Bad! Books are Doubleplusungood!

Seeing as you are not one of the swarming mobs of the Proletariat, doubtless with 4 TV Walls gracing your "living" rooms, and with our current war with East Eurasia, Oceania would like you to support this proposal to BURN ALL BOOKS!

Books are Bad! Books are Doubleplusungood!

(In a digest version, vote for this proposal! Otherwise, the hound will get you!)

Our books are online; practically unburnable.

Distopian sci-fi is a great source for proposal ideas. It's where I got the idea to ban robots to prevent the second renaissance.

yes, 1984 and farenheit 451 ARE good books, but lets keep a firm distinction between reality and works of fiction, eh old fellow?

[OOC]: Err... you're saying this as the fictional UN Delegate of a fictional nation existing only on a server somewhere in Melbourne. Pots? Kettles?

Now now now, East Hackney, they could be the delegate of "Hypocritia",

...

( Resisits incredible urge to make new nation and region called Hypocritia )

No, Komokom, this just proves that some hypothetical realities are cooler than other hypothetical realities. Now lets leave before 1984 hears that and goes to cry in the bathroom.

Well, err, Ben doesn't really watch so much as he stands around idly until someone in a suit calls for him to beat up a moron. But still, he's a pretty cool guy.

Wow... sounds like someone read 1984 once to often...

Or possibly read it over the course of two days, by means of a computer. That will send you on one crazy bender. Trust us.

(Or try it at home kiddies)

This proposal is horrible. Books must be saved. This is no joke man.
