This shouldn't be the issue.

Bohemian Republic

As the UN delegate for the Bohemian Republic I would just like to pose this one question. Why are we even discussing this issue? The power of cloning is dangerous beyond our comprehension and just because it is within our abilities to do it, does not mean we should. I should think that we should be debating a proposal to ban cloning for the sole fact that the human race isn't ready to fully cope with issues that it brings up, instead of discussing what rights the clones, should they be created, deserve. We are not ready to play GOD and I think everyone should vote against this proposal and discuss the immediate moral and ethical problems concerning cloning. In a world where people who were born naturally can't get along, why are we worried about the rights of clones that we aren't even creating yet? I think it's kinda like building a skyscraper before looking to see if the foundation is strong enough to support it.
I will not vote for this proposal and I don't think anyone else should, either. There are bigger things involved with this that we should be worrying about.

Respectfully,

El Presidente.

El Presidente.

We, the people of Lufiathar, agree with The Bohemian Republic. Please consider voting against this proposal, as it only makes cloning more accepted if we pass this resolution.
