I have proposed a resolution that all member states should create a national reserve to help animals and plant life avoid extinction and to provide a place for our children to enjoy for many centuries to come.
I feel it is everyones duty to support this proposal. The world needs to be looked after and in it's natural state.
Please support this proposal you owe it to yourself and the rest of the world !!!!!!

Why not
Species go extinct for a reason. Perhaps the environment changed enough to kill them. Perhaps they were hunted out. Me, I can only educate my people in conservation. The ultimate choice is theirs (the people, not the animals.)
I've already have land set aside for preserving nature, I consider this a National Issue, not an International one.
However, if you were to suggest a... say World Wildlife Federation or something to help monitor the Animal Kingdom as well as the International Endangered Species listing... then that's something else.

you probably can't force anyone to do anything
but if fewer people lived in wooden houses or drove car or had
large familites there's be a LOT fewer extinctions
requiring all nations to set aside at least some land to remain as
wilderness does not seem in any way beyond the pervew of this body
whether such a resolution could be enforced in any particular tangable
world outside of nation states is perhaps not of any particular
pertinance
as a concept this seems not at all unreasonable
the proposal itself we have not as yet seen

This is what I dont like about the UN. If I want my nation to make nature reserves I will choose it as an option in an issue. My nation although huge geographically it has more than 1,000,000,000 people so will choose if I can manage nature reserves.
NOTE:- If you read my nation I have told complete truth

Nature reserves are all good, but should be run by nations on a voluntary basis - we're looking into a proposal that would give UN approval to well-run existing reserves and encourage the development of new ones, but forcing nations to give up their territory is too much.

Concernig the reactions in 'The Catholic Covenant' I think we have to create a national park for the endangered species of the catholics... for there are none in the wild life anymore. Atheists!!

i think you can always resubmit an improved version after this one
expires.
this may be one case where it taking only a week to do so is good.
