How come nationstates only has the UN as an organization? I mean why cannot we have another organization like NATO, The Warsaw Pact, or the League of Nations. Plus if there were more organizations, people could chose between organizations. Each one could have a slightly different aspect then that of the UN.

I'd argue that your region could be considered the equivilent to these organisations. In RL, I would consider the European Union to be a region, The British commonwealth to be a region etc etc.
