A resolution to increase democratic freedoms.


Category: The Furtherment of Democracy Strength: Mild Proposed by: Rotovia
Description: RECOGNISING: That the current waves of Resolutions passing through the United Nations have been gradually decaying national soveriegnty.

UNDERSTANDING: That national ecnomies have been devasted by poorly though our Proposals that passed quarum by some kind of fluke.

KNOWING: That capitals make a resolution look cool.

IN COMPLAIANCE WITH: The Freedom of Humour Act allowing for the passing of basless Proposals.

LET IT BE RESOLVED:

That as of the passing of this resolution the following Artciles are to enacted upon all UN Nations immediatly and without delay.

Article One: The Act is to be refered to as --- No Resolution Currently At Vote ---.

Article Two: All nations shall immediatly enact a policy of nothing.

Article Three: A charge of $0.00 is to be enforced upon all nations to establish a nothing.

Article Four: A policy of nothing is to be adopted by all UN Nations.

Article Five: There is to be no Article Five.

Article Six: Article Six is to be refered to as Article Twelve.

Article Seven: All UN Nation's economies are to increase for no logical reason.

Wait a second- if I vote no on no resolutions, and I voting to have a resolution, but I'm voting no on the resolutions, so I'm against the resolution, which it exist....

I'd vote for that resolution! Except I can't because I left the UN because of all the crap that was being passed.

Obviously, the Currently No Resolutions at Vote-resolution is the Holy Grail of politics. It would be great to vote for something that is a sure-fire win as it unequivocally prolongs the political status quo, keeps current officials in power and changes nought whilst giving the faint impression to the general public that their democratically elected repressentatives are doing something but no one is sure what.

Nice...though I prefer choclate chip in choclate. Vanilla's just okay.

Man, what a day this has been...voting on nothing at all...the things that go on in here...
