I voted no, but not for your reason. Where does your statistic come from? Whilst I understand the position you are taking, dodgy statistics (and I sincerely apologise if it happens to be true) can only hurt our chances.

I thought you knew, "79.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot" - Vic Reeves

It makes no sense whatsoever. High Acadia's blood reserves are of exceptional quality, as is Acadian blood. It would merely be soiled if such a proposal was entacted.

Transfers of blood are already a touchy issue for the Emperor. It would be tragic if our brave soldiers did not know the blood saving their lives comes from equally valorous citizens of the nation.

The RCO does not support this resolution, but our main concern is that this centralization of blood/organs will inhibit our ability to give assistance to our non-UN-member states in our region. We would much prefer to have control over our own supplies should any nation, UN or no, need them in our region, rather than have to rely on the UN bureaucracy to regain them.

That, and the absolutely enormous expenditures that would be needed to make this resolution viable led us to vote against.

With Respect,
Minister of Foreign Affairs Voegelin, Royal Commonwealth of Oakeshottland.

Good words that man!

...pity so many other, lesser nations appear to want to enrich their own coarse blood-stocks with some of our superb quality supplies.
