His Most Irate Majesty's citizens have found the aliens to be harmless & stupid but trainable. We tried putting a few in zoos for the people to view, but the aliens prized the gentle treatment so much that more immigrated to our shores.
Northgalis is going through a prolonged 'boom' period, & there are many more jobs than citizens. In such an economy, some jobs get to be considered as 'demeaning' by citizens who have the education & skills to do 'serious' (i.e. higher-paid, more prestigious work).
To ease our severe worker shortage, We are developing a plan to train aliens to perform some of the jobs that are begging for workers: picking up litter in public places, delivering leaflets for political candidates, working in customer complaint departments, & delivering pizza. We are also considering training them to deal with violent inmates in our prisons & lunatic asylums since the aliens have been judged to be expendable.
Aliens have low upkeep: they will eat almost anything & are quite fond of Big Clown Psuedo-Meals (which our citizens avoid despite the punish...oops...government persuasions to get them to buy those nutritious treats). They are willing to curl & up & sleep anywhere, as for clothes; last years fashions make them blubber with joy.
His Most Irate Majesty suggests other government treat alien immigrants the same way.

Fair go, Illamar. We already have elves and penguins in the UN, so I don't see what's so bad about aliens joining in.
Aside from that, this discussion really shouldn't be in the UN forum.

I mean really SEE them, man.
There have been aliens in the UN for some time.
Take a ride through some of the UN Member states some time - it includes delegates from Space, various planets, various other stars, etc.
However, why would we want to attack them? Unlike our actual neighbors, it is prohibitively expensive for us to actually take any of their resources to our cities.
