Without any resonable thought, a delegate of the UN has proposed we open a World bank for donating blood and organs. I, for one, think this idea, if voted through, will have some serious repercussions. Throughout the world there are thousands of different cultures.

Different cultures with different properties. One culture may have bacteria in the blod or around the organs that could be fatal to a culture such as my own. One that wouldn't affect the donor, but certainly effedct the recipiant. I am urging you, vote against this policy.

The first thing that must be done is cultural identification and cataloging. Bloodtests must be run on all members of any culture, weather they like it or not, if this so called "World Blood Bank" is to follow through.

So citizens of the world, I urge strongly, vote AGAINST this horrid proposal for the sanctity of or world.

Why do we need hundreds of threads, when we have one, which covers both sides?

This will probably be my only post here, as the forum hates me, and it is actually working now, so here goes:

I agree in your vote against this proposal. Had it been thought out more, it may do better, but the current version:

1) FORCES all UN nations to comply - "Member nations would need to..."
2) Does not set up any program for donation - how is this supposed to help with shortages if you still have no blood?
3) Is simply impractical - Blood only lasts 5 days, and is then useless. If blood donated at point A must be sent to the blood bank at point B 3 days away, and then need to be shipped back for a transfusion, the blood has already expired by a day.

This proposal needs A LOT of work, and if passed, could cause more harm than good. I also strongly reccommend votes against it, for the safety of our civilization.

But this must be rejected for the safety of our world. Your votes for the world bloodbank must be repealed. Must be changed. You must save the planet and use your heads. Think about the repercussions people!!!

Why would you view this not to speak out against it? Are you in favor of introducing a foreign ailment to your society, and possible wiping out over half of your population? Is that what you would want.

Do not just read the arguement. VOICE YOUR OWN OPINIONS. BE INDIVIDUALS.

My serious problem with this proposal is the fact that it has absolutely no criteria for the blood donations. This could lead to all kinds of issues with spread of AIDS and other diseases through blood transfusions. Maybe if they worked that out I would consider voting for it. However, since I do not want the peoples of my nation to be ravaged by diseases I vote against this proposal.

Well then sir, I can honestly say that I am proud of your decision.

Dieseases must be quarentined and the things they feed on cut off. The souls must be saved, but spare the body. Think of the future.

what about the fact that my countries banks are protected by my nations security, what kind of protection do i have if my banks are off seas. do i know they are safe from terroiest that could destroy the worlds banks and kill billions of people. I too agree with Narcissan, this typic of cultural bacteria has raised some eyebrows in my nation. This proposal must not pass

Are you people blind. How can you not see this is just another evil scheme concocted by the vampires that have forever haunted us posing as bureaucrats. This proposal for a world organ and blood bank would only increase the powers of the undead. It must be stopped at all COSTS!!!

On a side note: The proposal that should be up for vote is the prohibition of all uses of lighting, I mean come on, we can't just have every Tom, Dick, and Victor bringing inanimate men to life.
