Flowers not bullets - the first proposal from Smoon
Greetings to the UN at large,
I have been given the task of writing this United Nations message in hope that I might draw interest and attention to our proposal set to further the dreams of world peace.
Please if you could give it the once over and send your queries to the Kingdom so that we might better aqquaint ourselves with supporters and protesters to the issue.

How many times must we speak out against the removal of military capabilities from the UN before people stop attempting to remove our nation’s strong military presence? Our nation is built on the tenant that all other nations in our region are ready to invade us at a moments notice, and therefore we must not only keep our military strong, but also that we must continue to improve it so that no other nation can easily destroy us! This is why we believe that a superior resolution would be to have a standing army within the UN, so that the UN can protect its member nations, or perhaps to use orbital satellites to keep the peace within the world. You see, the only way to have no need for a military is to have a world in which there are immediate and devastating repercussions for such acts. I must say nay to this proposal.

I, the Royal Ambassador, thank you for your voice on the issue, it is most well receieved and I shall make a personal visit to your nation this afternoon to meet with you so we might chat further.
I find it highly unlikely you'd have anything to fear if the UN agreed as a body. Ofcourse there are those horrid little rogue states that would like nothing more than to flex their primordial brain matter but we can reach out to these mental molluscs and embrace them with the love of the seventy gods of Smoon, the incredible gardens of Smoon, and the extremely well equipped libraries.. of Smoon! And not only Smoon, oh no.
Should this law come to pass, all of us would have the abundance in time and materials to recreate the peace we have come to know and adore in our beautiful little state.
There is not a need for weapons when you have -love- !
