Before this is turned in as a proposal I think a dialogue is in order. Many problems that are World faces comes from those nations outside the UN. How many times do we have to send UN Coalition forces to this country or that country for some little problem that has been blown out of proportion and thrusted upon the World's Stage. Only for us in the UN to have to fix and clean up. Needless energy, time, money and lives are spent to do this each year, yet there is always some country outside the UN to cause some Jihad, border skirmish or civil war yet anew. I for one a humble leader of a great nation grow tired of this happening again and again. Now if these countries would come into the loving arms of the UN, then we as Brothers and Sisters could work out their problems together, before it comes to blows. All nations of this World need to join together for the common good. Many when they hear we the UN are asking them to be one of us will flock to Our Banner. However a small few will not. These will be countries that would like to join if given a chance, but alas their cruel potentate will not allow it. Those few would do harm to their own people and our World. That is something that we the UN could not allow. For the future of our children, and to give them a peaceful place to live, work and love, we will take action. An action that will save all of us. This is a Crusade of the Good and Just, let us all join together and do whats right!!!

Screw the UN! Death to all Coersive Collectivists who wish to force world wide compliance to their New World Order. I vehemently oppose this enormous One World Government usurpation of individual national perogatives of runing a country. But the problem with the UN is that it is only usefull with problems which involves two poor countryes. If there is a problem betwen two powerfull countryes the UN can´t make nothing because its countroled by them (USA, Great Britain, etc), so it can not give them orders. A clear example it is in the USA invation against Irak. The UN told them not to invade, but they (USA) didnt listen to it, and what did the un did???, nothing.... This is not really the UN that I wish for controling my country...

If this resoution passes (though I don't think it will) we Iraqi Republican Guard will fund an Armed UN Resistence Militia. The purpose of this Militia will be to target any UN soldiers or military equipment occupying our Nation and neighboring Nations as well. There countrymen will thank us when those leaders are out of power. This crusade will not loose for it is good and right, bringing the light of justice into the darkness of Tyranny.

First of all, not all non-UN nations are 'evil' dictatorships as you stupidly seem to believe. I am one of them. When you wrote: "bringing the light of justice into the darkness of Tyranny," you seem to feel justified by the idea that you are fighting 'evil.' Nothing wrong with that except when you arrogantly appoint yourself as the 'gaurdian of righteousness' and act as the moral compass for the world by dictating who is 'evil' and who is 'just'...well..you'll just end up as another perpetrator of the same tyranny you puport to be against.

Also, did you think about the fact that there are many UN nations who have puppet non-UN nations? Since the rules are that each person can have only 1 UN nation, This half-thought out resolution would force UN members to watch or partake in War against their own countries.

The UN is supposed to be an organization composed of a number of nations forming an international community or something like that. Stop trying to make the UN a One World Government!

I myself am a man opposed to UN rule, although I am a part of the organization. Much like the Southern United States prior to the American Civil War, I believe that nations should be loosely tied and not bound to a large political machine. Thus, I still do take part in the efforts of the UN countries who believe the same that I do. I do not agree with international law, but the best way to fight the system is from the inside with calmness and lawfulness. Not the outside with wars, death, and pain.

I hope you all can see, that such a resolution would be ridiculous, but if more of you joined the UN, such measures could surely be voted down by our majority.

As a fairly common character here, in fact, the most part of my post counter is due to this forum, I have a loose grasp on things, so let me see,

1) This idea can't actually pass as a proposal ...

"Why?" You ask.

Because quite simply it will not work.

The reasons :

A) It quite clearly contains the idea of nations who do not of their own free will join the U.N. will be "absorbed" and it quite clearly hints at force. This is for the first part, against game mechanics, it effectively means you will no longer have the choice of joining the U.N. when you join the game, rather it would make it auto-matic. Ergo, game mechanics, won't work.

And if you submit it, Enodia wil quite literally kill you, or boot you out of here. I pray for the first but more likely expect the second.

B) This would foster an incredible number of "newbie" delegates, rising the number needed to get a proposal to quorum before open voting, meaning, it would be almost impossible to get a proposal onto the floor, let alone through the que. Now I think of it the proposal list would probably be so long, it would be crushed by its own weight... :wink:

In conclusion, this is a whole load of bull your all panicing about. Drop it, it won't happen, for a variety of reasons, the two obvious ones above.

Might I add, the simple ignorance of the idea makes one almost suspect an agitator was at work here with intent. Me-thinks I shall be keeping an open eye to all this, twaddle though it seems on the surface.
