Equilism member nation, The United Socialist States of Febreria, has a proposal currently seeking support. I will let Febreria's own words speak for the resolution:

I submitted a proposal to the UN requesting that countries strive to limit the proliferation of small arms within their borders, as well as cease using and denounce the use of child soldiers. This is an important and relevant resolution to submit, and I request your approval of it.

Small Arms Control
A resolution to tighten or relax gun control laws.
Category: Gun Control
Decision: Tighten
Proposed by: Febreria
Description: Recognizing that the proliferation of small arms is a detrememnet to 3rd world countries.
Realizing that the spread of small arms leads to the use of child soldiers
Affirming that wars and conflicts are intensified by the widespread nature of said arms
1. Calls upon member nations to use their power to stop the small arms trade within their borders.
2. Calls upon member nations to denounce the use of child soldiers and to cease doing so if they are
3. Requests economic and diplomatic reprecutions on nations failing to comply with clauses one and two.
