Political Common Sense

29-03-2004, 08:16
The recently passed resolution "Universal Freedom of Choice" basically supports anarchy within all UN member nations. As many of us enjoy knowing that we have full control of our citizens (any dictators in da house? ), I have proposed "Common Political Sense", which simply appeals "Universal Freedom of Choice" and acknowledges our freedom to rule as we see fit. Please provide your support by visiting this page:

Scrolling to the near bottom and add your approval before March 31. We don't have much time! At the vary least, read my proposal (IT'S SHORT!)

Thank you.

1) Wrong forum.
2) Proposals that seek to "repeal" existing resolutions are in violation of game rules.

Please don't think I'm being offensive because I'm not trying to be. Where in the rules is it forbidden? I haven't found it.

That's funny. When I gave forward my proposal, I used the word APPEAL, not repeal. There's a big differance you know. The choice to appeal a decision made vs. repeal which is to entirely remove the decision made.

I think sometimes the gun gets jumped far in access of the action at hand. If you say he's out of line, then send him a warning, close his thread, and delete his proposal.

BUT I implore you, that if he's a member of the UN, NOT to eject him. I would think a warning would be enough, don't you?

Ok, I see that now and apologize for my error. Would it be possible for that to be posted OUTSIDE the actual forum, like on the main page TO the forums? On the UN page would be useful as well, I think. I would not have been able to find that easily, especially since I didn't know WHAT I needed to look for or even that I NEEDED to look for anything. That proposal was drafted and sent as a telegram to other nations days before I first visited the forums at all. Posting those rules outside of the forum might help stop such mistakes from being made by newbies like myself.

A link exists from the proposal-submission screen to the thread.

I see that now and wish I had paid enough attention to read it before sending in m propsal. I truly did not think there was anything wrong with it at all
