GPA? We don't have any idea what those things are.

(Not that this'd affect us. Higher education is free to whoever wants it in Rehochipe).

Where's the money come from? Is it an international fund? Well, in that case, why don't I just grant all my students a GPA of 3.0 and make the international community pay for my nation's college education program?

Is it a domestic fund? In that case, why is the UN dictating purely domestic policy? What about those nations which don't use the same grading systems? Is the UN dictating grading policy, too?

We oppose this proposal, as it does not specify the scale on which the GPA is measured, nor note what classes it must comprise.

Although this resolution would be meritorious if grade point averages were herein listed on a 4-point scale, the merits would be less if the GPAs in question were on a 10-point scale.

Happily, the Goobergunchian educational system, which provides free public universities for all students who are accepted, is in no need of this proposal.

Agreed. Another socialist program to spend other peoples money.

Government has no place funding education.

Considering the system of education is different in each country it probably wouldn’t be a good idea.

But I’m all for giving students money.

I don't understand what a GPA is. In any case, education is free within the walls of Enn.

Schooling within the Terran Assembly is mandatory, but before the chance for higher education one must first become a citizen after a term of military service. Some of the Asian Pacific Bloc nationalities use this same state of educational affairs, and the system so far actually works.

We do tend to believe our educational system is free to our society. But we are not prepared to force our educational ethics upon other nations. The Terran Assemblage would vote no.

GPA=grade point average. It's an American thing, I imagine.

G Bugles: "Government has no place funding education."

In your society, maybe. This seems an unnecessarily sweeping statement. Would you care to back it up?

Yes. That's what we did. After that health-care resolution passed. We sabotaged our own health care system, called The Disputed Territories of Germany and France a third world country fraught with civil war (notice the Country's Title, clearly indicating that two major powers are constantly fighting on our soil), and let other countries pay our billls.
