Free Trade Proposal

28-03-2004, 06:07
There is Free Trade Proposal currently on the floor of the UN. The resolution proposes to ban tariffs or protectionism on humanitarian items necessary to human survival. These items include: medicine, clothes, foodstuffs and housing mateirals. The goal is to promote the free trade of these items to make them cheaper and more readily available to those who need them in poor countries. It has the added benefit of encouraging trade and prosperity in richer countries. The Holy Empire requests your support of this proposal so it can be put to a vote. Please feel free to contact us by telegram if you have any questions.

Having looked over the proposal, we wholeheartedly agree with this proposal. Despite the fact that we are a left-leaning nation, we feel that effrorts to promote humanitarianism are worth while. Please everybody, endorse this so we can help people.

and this is why So many of us are not a part of the UN, cause of Resolution like this. in the real world free trade would never exsist. the closest thing is NAFTA. However, there are still disagreement that occur despite the Treaty.

I don't know what this knob is talking about-clearly this left-wing nutbag has never heard of economics. Everybody knows that free trade makes everybody richer if they follow the rules and everybody knows that in this game, the UN resolutions are enforced. Let's vote for something that works and not nitpick by nitwits that aren't even in the UN

Salom, good neighbor and may Allah's peace be upon you. Remember that there is no need to get nasty or unprofessional, its only a game. Please remember respect. As for the resolution, a poor country like mine could use the help.

Good Day All:

The higly inefficient trolls of our Economic, Financial, Commerce & Industry Directorate have, at length, discussed this issue and come to a conclusion:

Considering the state of the international economy and the current humanitarian situation in numerous nation states and further, knowing that free trade, economically speaking, may marginally improve economic performance of free markets, we believe that this request should be aceeded to. All of which means, we support this.
