For the reasons I have stated in my previous posts, as well as many reasons articulated by many of my honorable colleagues, the position of my region is that this Bill suffers from serious flaws and we must vote it down. (I will not repeat the arguments here, but please feel free to read through the relevant posts below/above)
Regrettably, the vote count, though still in its early stages, suggests that this Bill has received significant support. Should this resolution pass, I will immediately lodge a proposal, on behalf of my region and all dissenters, seeking to clarify the resolution's overly ambiguous terms and assert (1) our continued intent to comply with Article 2 of the Universal Bill of Rights (which this resolution's media restriction contravenes) and (2) our continuing sovereign right to have our judicial tribunals function fully and property (which this resolution threatens by purporting to reject all forms of "judgment").
I urge all dissenters to post here and show your supportive dissent. I would also like to call on dissenters posting here to suggest elements of the new proposal we shall seek to implement, should this resolution pass.
Thank you.
