Tobacco Child Endangerment Act

i would like to ask for help in helping me ban the smoking of tobacco products around childern under certain ages. pease help and support the ban.

All people should have the right to live healthy and productive lives, but for some this is not the case and can be seen all around the world. Parents who smoke around their childern are putting the future of our world in grave danger. I propose we take the first step in what will be a long process of stoping the endangerment of childern by Tobacco related products. The resolution would be as follows

1. Parents who have childern between the age range of new born - 8 years of age should not be allowed to smoke around their childern by law.If the parents fail to do so this is child endangerment and the child should be taken away. The child can be returned when the parents are proven fit.

2. Smokers should not be allowed to smoke around people who can't walk or leave away from the toxic fumes. examples of this would be a bed redden person who is not capable of leaving from the fumes, A person who is paralyzed or unable to willfully from away from the smoker.

3. Smoking should not be allowed in at least 20 feet of school ground when school is in session or a school fuction is going on.

4. Ads from Tobacco related products should not be played on any network that is mostly viewed by childern who are between the ages of 10 years of age -15 years of age because childern are easily influenced by this age period.

We hope that members of the UN will gain us in our cause to help protect the future of our world...the child, The time for us to rule on this is now...tomorrow may just be too late....

This proposal is completely impractical in that it's ideas are totally unenforceable. It is our submission that any such proposal needs to detail a banning of smoking in private places.
On what legal grounds would you remove the children? What effect would this have on the children psychologically? Where would you put the children? How would you fund it? This is complete nonsense in that it has not been thought through at all.
Tobacco advertising should be banned, and already is in some nations e.g. the UK. Not advertising cigarettes on channels widely watched by children makes sense for two reasons. First, it protects the child as you say. More importantly from a cigarette selling point of view, under 16s can't buy cigarettes anyway so what is the point in advertising to them? It makes no commercial sense whatsoever!!!
Why have you chosen 20 feet as the limit? Is that a scientifically proven distance that smoke cannot travel?
It is our submission that to prevent people from inhaling fumes from cigarettes smoking should be restricted to either private residences or assigned areas. People should only be allowed to smoke in the presence of others where the other person has given consent for that person to smoke. This would make smoking and forcing another person to inhale your smoke a criminal offence in line with assault. A defence would be that people can consent to the inhaliong of the toxic fumes.
As children under 16 generally can't give consent in law for many things e.g. sexual intercourse, then this would prohibit people from smoking in front of under 16 year olds. These children cannot provide consent so a person cannot smoke in their presence.
It is our further submission that this proposer abstains from any further proposals due to his inability to think situations through and to draft measures.
