Important Proposals: New Weapons Development and more..

17-03-2004, 09:13
Brothers, I would like to take this time to inform you of some very important proposals that I have put forth.

The first proposal is entitled New Weapons Development. This bill will be the first step in creating robotic armies of mass destruction. No longer will any troops have to worry about losing their lives. Mechanical terrors are the future on the world's high-tech battlegrounds. By utilizing robotic armies we will be able to spread peace throughout the free world.

The second proposal, which our government worked for many hours to author, relates to our educational system. Everyone knows that the system can be improved, which is why we have proposed an incentive based program that will surely boost test scores across the planet. By giving high-achieving students a monthly cocaine allotment we will be solidifying a bright future for our world.

Vote yes on Free Cocaine For Good Grades and New Weapons Development.

yes the idea a robotic army is very interesting and could prevent loss of life, yet you missunderstand. The idea behind the UN is to stop wars and conflicts through peaceful means, not to enhance the ability to kill. So this proposal will not have my backing.

I disagree with giving cocain to students in school, first off, drugs are illigal and can be dangerouse. It is like sport, preformance enhancers are banned. We want these children to grow up by their own means and not through drugs as they alter one's way of thinking and i am sure after a year of this all the students will be thinking about is when will they have their next "hit". We also do not want to create an income for viciouse and bloodthirsty drug tycoons.

The delegate from the Federation of Wetland:

"This is the most ridiculous proposal I heard in at least 2 days. We will oppose both these proposals if they are real."

Could you pass a copy of this proposal? The office staff say we're out of toilet paper in the visitors bathroom.

Sincerely yours,

This is a great concept, but may need some reworking.

Unfortunately, robotic disposable armies benefit the aggressor in any conflict. A robotic army takes a while to build and is technological obsolete in just a few years.

We would be in favor of a revised proposal where the UN had a standing army of robotic horrors with the stated mandate of counter invading countries which overstepped their borders by force. For too long have member nations been whiny little girls about sending their own citizens to die protecting other nations - and the world has been awash in conflict because of it.

Maybe if the armies themselves were objectively expendable the world's nations would maybe grow a pair and start standing up for each other instead of offering flat worthless apologies and condemnations.

Don't make me come over there.

Wow, the first proposal is self contradictory to its core, bring peace with horror instilling mechanical terrors...

And the second one wants us to give cocaine to children.

Ahem, in the errr, "text-steps" of many of my peers, and for the first time I personally suspect, I come to the conclusion of,

"WTF?"

Well, I suspect its the first time I've actually said it that way...

But, really, I don't know if I should laugh or be offended to my core.
