too much ill-feeling.
There is too much conflict and ill feeling between UN states these days. Id like ideas on my draft proposal:
INTERNATIONAL PARTY DAY
To encourage international unity on a individual basis.
A day of cross-cultural celebrations hosted by an elected nation state each year.
The event will be pretty much self-funding (see post no.3)
Tickets to be distributed world wide.
MASSIVE celebration event. like the olympics (but not as much sweat) and for everyone! (subject to availability)
PARTY ON!
REP
One change requested... it should be INTERNATIONAL Party Day.
Oops, just spotted this...
Funds to be raised as a small % of each member-nations taxes.
You need a different way to finance it... no UN taxes.
Oh yea, did mean to call it that.
Well, its a giant party. We're talking excessive amounts of alcohol and the ticket price, plus all the commerce with tourism. I think itll pretty well fund itself actually. I mean, on a smaller scale, national events like this do OK for themselves.

While we feel any such event would pale before the gustatory delights of the CACE Epicurean Festival, we have no objections.

The Commonwealth of Yakabako thinks that this is an excellent idea.
The Arbitrary Peninsula will be attending, by force if necessary.
The Arbitrary Peninsula will be attending, by force if necessary.
And so will the member countries.

So let me get this straight. To increase international feelings of love and acceptance towards one another, we're going to throw large amounts of alcohol at them until they are too drunk to care if they hate you or not while at the same time pissing off every religious organization around.... strangely I find this idea intriguing.
-ANd just remember, there is always more... Booyah For All!
