Policies on Illegal Immigration?

I'd like to see where several nations stand on Illegal Immigration.

We have open boarders, therefore there is no such thing as Ilegal immigration in AS. we find the sight of human beings to be humourous and absurdly tall, but they can do jobs almost as well as Albions can.

While Gethamane has a low-tolerance policy regarding Illegal Immigrants, it is mostly due to the fact that Gethamane has a wide variety of methods to legally immigrate into our nation. Obviously, we don't restrict based on race, gender, religion, etc. etc. (though, the religion issue was only ever encountered once we entered the UN and brought our country up to compliance).

I have said before, and I will say it again

We are a mongrel nation and proud!

Our borders are open but for some things people require paperwork- which is easily obtained.

We don't have illegal immigration - we, like many of the other nations in this topic, have open borders.
That is, as long as people can accept that our highest level of government consists of unelected, permanent councillors who may not be entirely human...

Ecopoeia has always maintained a strict 'open borders' policy; after all, our entire population are descended from refugees. Surely it would be hypocritical to act in any other way in our position?

Our nation doesn't need an Illegal Immigration policy, as noone wants to escape to a country where young maidens frequently vanish and turn up later drained of blood, having died of "mysterious maladies", or so the government says.

Emperor Jake of Cassopia writes:

"We welcome all into our country, as we have no 'Visa' system. My government has no laws against immigrants, we just treat all forgieners like tourists, but you must became a citizen before you can get a job."

We don't have open borders per se, since this would reduce our ability to tax and police our nation, but we do have very liberal immigration policy; while, therefore, we would be inclined to come down relatively sternly on illegal immigrants, this would not include economic migrants or asylum seekers, as the term usually refers to, but rather to criminals and so forth. We reserve the right to refuse entry to an exiled dictator, and will kick him out if we find him living here illegally, but we still pride ourselves on encouraging immigration.

The DSH tends to limit the numbers per year to approximately 10 000, which has lead to a large number of people trying to race over the border at the same time (just after new years)....it's even on some satellite channels covering the whole events, and the refugees can get sponsorship...The rest of them we sadly have to review on a strict case-by-case basis.

We work hard and have little night life.

If people can stand it here, they are more than welcome to come.

"We would like to declare our borders open! We hope that by doing so , the Socialist Republics of Nailseaia will attract the true people of the world to our forward thinking nation. We aim to bring a form of happiness to the world, likes of which have never been seen before" Long Live Nailseaia!!!

Hazatak has an open border policy. The Hazatakan government is responsible for every person living in our country, no matter their origin.

However, these friendly measures has been atracting much more imigrants than we thought, and it is starting to cause social problems, like small ethnic conflicts and unemployment. Maybe we will have to change our policy towards imigration, if things get worse.

An illegal alien is already in violation of the law. We do not encourage anarchy, hence they are immediately deported and perma-banned from Shambhala.

To follow the law and migrate legally couldn't be more simple, so those who cannot follow these methods are either mentally challenged, anarchists with no respect for the law, or both.

Our country has open borders, but unless you have the birth-implanted chip, you can't get a job. The only way to work in our country is to be a natural born citizen. You can't even collect welfare without the chip. But you can own property and vehicles and even run for some limited political offices without being a citizen. Also, if we have to accept foreign cash for taxes, its double the amount
