"The Right Wing" region poses Threat!

This HAS to stop, when do these moronic region give up the fight for their cause!? I was really perturbed with some of their correspondences:

1.) "you cant really nuke people in nationstates...
but as soon as we get more members, we will take over some weak liberal regions." (URMSA)

2.) "Theres nothing like a mushroom cloud on the horizon to brighten one's spirits....." (Massera)

3.) "I'm up for some region crashing." (Erolingas)

Most of these can be seen at "The Right Wing's" website http://therightwing.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=military&action=display&num=1077755013

Also they seem to have an IMMENSE alliance program that they are still building, this information was gathered by a nation that just recently left Mirkwood for "The Right Wing"...What can we do to prevent the horrors of region crashing? It is barbaric and needs to be controlled!

Okay,

1) You can actually try to post this stuff where it belongs, in another forum. I have lost count of the times people wander into the U.N. forum and begin to blather their problems. People, we are not universal tech support, try looking more closely at forum titles before entering.

2) Pass word your region, or make sure only the region founder can access region control, done by the founder in the region control settings area thingy, by making sure U.N. delegate cannot access region control to obviously change stuff like pass word or evicting nations. Make sense?

2) I blame the server, and my connection to the net, both of which I suspect are plotting against me and to take over the world, but thats niether here nor there.

Oh please, get over it. I swear it's you UN Conservative whores that seem to stop any decent issues. THE LAST TIME I CHECKED THE UN WAS FOR MAKING THE WORLD AWARE OF POTENTIAL DANGERS! Literally all you see is the SAME freaking issues day after day, all I did was post something that I believe the world should be made aware of. If you have a problem then TG me and explain more. Otherwise I am just lodging a message to the UNITED NATIONS informing them of potential attacks, and if you would have taken me more seriously you would have seen that they took over a small region just last night! ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS LIBERAL! Shouldn't these people have to face some sort of justice!? Or do we just let this go because it isnt YOUR region! PSH! This is all foolishness, if your region was attakced you would sure as hell what the UN right up in the perpetrater's (sp) face telling them to STOP!

If the leftists are strong then they will survive. If they are weak then they shall be crushed. Such is the way, and such it should be. You weak willed kittens sucking from the teat of the UN...when will you learn.

What's up with people getting upset about others posting about "current events" in the UN forum? If you can't understand why people are doing this, it's because they are assuming that the NationStates UN is like the real world UN- it reacts to current events. It is not that people are just randomly walking into the UN forum and "blathering" about their RPing. It should be made clear what the purpose of the NationStates UN is and that it is unconcerned with what occurs in role playing.

Wow.

Conservative... whores?

Me, a conservative whore?

O-kay... looks like a case of "puff, puff, pass" here...

You know, clearly your not around here much, if you were you would know I am not a "conservative" and would not slander me so.

Also I do take some offence at the whore bit, if only out of the tradition of the U.N. forum when a clearly agressive little nooble flames some one.

In answer to your rant and rave fit, I'll skip your bull in the first few sentances and get right on to the justice bit. If you have a problem wih somehing like that, go to the moderation forum or telegram a game mod. They'll tell you if what that region is doing is "legal" or not.

Oh, and a little note, I did *try* to give you some helpful advice in my second point in my original post, which at the time I *thought* was what you wanted, though now I can see quite clearly you require a labotomy if anything else... And as for that little bit on caring if it was my region that was attacked...

Yes, well, my region is password protected, as well as not allowing delegate access to region control, so I have authority over who gets in *and* gets kicked out, so really, *I* have taken precautions and have nothing to fear.

I suggest you change "Brad-dur" to "Brad-du'h!"

First of all, I am certainly not a newbie. Second, you insult me to a high degree. Also it was not so much ranting, but rather surprised that no one seemed to care about the small defenseless regions. BTW, my region was NOT what I was talking about, and just b/c someone's region is PW protected DOES not mean that people cant get through that...

I meant no offense to you and I apologize for insulting you, however the "Brad-duh" bit was certainly not necessary, however I will overlook you childish antics and clean the slate of what I think of you.

How... generous of you...

1) When some one calls me a conservative whore and proceeds to "bitch" about us "conservative whores" in the fashion you did it did seems a tad bit of a rant, sorry, I simply called it as I saw it.

2) I too am aware it was not your region you were talking about, I was simply trying to highlight for you and other readers protection methods available.

3) Actually, if your region has only a couple of members, OR all members are dedicated to the region, then PW is usually effective, also regularly changing the region PW after a new member uses it to enter should handle any real security concerns, its a simple case of beings as careful as you would with any other sensitive or important PW protected system.

I also suggested that only the region ontroller be granted access, rather then the delegate as well, as thats an important part of taking over a region. If only the controller has access, they can PW the region, then proceed to eliminate the unwelcome individuals.

3) Skipping back to the first paragraph, in relation to your last, It is you who first let insult fly might you remember, and as for your little end note, well, the "Brad-du'h!" bit seemed very appropriate at the time, I felt it was quite minor considering the offence one could take at being labelled a whore of any sort.

I need not go into your "childish antics" comment, I think its safe to safe the pot should shut up before even trying to call the kettle black, if your going to back flip on such a scale, you could at least try a genuine apology rather then blatantly shift blame.

I too am willing to wipe the slate clean, though quite frankly after the last two displays some would read and wonder why I bothered.

This forum is "Where UN members debate how to improve the world, one resolution at a time."

Considering that I didn't see reference to any proposal at all, it wouldn't seem to belong here. However, I will gladly discuss the potential for a resolution banning Region Crashing between regions which have a UN Delegate (if you must discuss it, please open a new thread for it, as this one is already tainted with silliness).
I will not reiterate the crystal clear words of the knowledgable Representative of Komokom. But any region concerned about Region Crashing should heed his advice.

Your last comment was blatant mockery of me, however I am sure I deserved it. I was a bit abnoxious. I hope you will accept an apology, and also that we can work together in the future as two liberals (you hopefully putting me in my place when necessary, seeing as how I'm launched in fury suddenly).

Once again, I apologise.

And yes, you were.

But thats beside the point,

I would be glad to debate and other-wise communicate with you!

That's fine, but it the motto does not say "one unenforceable resolution at a time." Most people (such as my self) would assume that acting through resolutions includes enforcing those resolutions that have already been ratified...

I still think it should be made clearer that UN resolutions have nothing to do with RPing to at least make posts about events happening in RPing less common.

Ping!, incorrect I would have thought,

As it seeems to me it would be perfectly legal to use U.N. resolutions in an R.P. matter, for example, one could in an R.P. say that:

"Since Player X has captured an awful lot of Player Y's troops and other combatants, they must be taken care of in correct conditions as layed down in the Wolfish Convention On POW Resolution, thus straining their infrastructure to be exploited, blah, blah, blah, by Player Y at a later time."

Provided though that Player X who has captured the troops and combatants is a U.N. Member, otherwise it could quite possibly be a trip off to the death camps...
