Any chance that there will at some point be the ability to suggest and vote on amendments to bills rather than just the bills themselves? That would be cool and let the bills be customized to something that more people could fully support. It's annoying to see a decent bill that you would never vote for just because of a few things in it.

The problem with this is that amendments affect the game mechanics. I suggest you have a browse through some of the technical threads and the sticky "Before you make a proposal" at the top of the UN forum index.
Essentially the answeris no, unfortunately.
To be honest, it's probably for the best. Given the amount of discussion that goes on just within my own region (ASE) when a new resolution is proposed, and the amount of amendments that occur before it is finally agreed upon, trying to do this in a UN with thousands of different members would just prove impossible.
