Attention UN Members!

To help the world's Educational situation, I am considering re-submitting a proposal to the UN concerning under-budgeted school systems. The United Nations Educational Committee, or UNEC, will seek out and fund school programs in financal problems, helping them buy new materials for students, hire new teachers or provide better training for existing ones, and provide extra-curricular activities for the students ( :D ). Many systems do not have these essential parts. The students suffer by being taught by poor teachers with out-of-date or broken materials, with no way to relax with their friends later ( :cry: ). This proposal seeks to change all this.

Here is what the origonal proposal had to say:

"Whereas, since many nations are unable to supply a sufficient budget for Education;

Whereas, since many children need help in their respective Educational areas;

Whereas, many school programs are unable to function due to poor funding;

Whereas, many schools regularly cut budgets on extra-curricular activities such as music and sporting to save money for more pressing needs;

Whereas, these programs need much additional funding;

And Whereas, the United Nations (UN) shall form the United Nations Educational Committee, which shall provide funding for these programs, such as in the musical and sporting areas, to provide a better learning enviroment for our children, so as to ensure our future's welfare."

This version recieved 15 approvals from the following countries:
Democratic Donkeys, Laurentie, Alalalalalah, Froke, Bloodmoon-Hyperion, 1337 pwnage, West - Europa, Wilkshire, General Mike, Samis, Baudrillard, North INGSOC, Coolet, Harry Fung, and Samstonia.

I greatly thank these countries for thier support, but if this proposal is to pass, we need at least 135 more delegates to approve this. PLEASE, look to your nation's future and let me know if it is worth re-submitting. If any one has any questions, let me know either by posting them here or, the faster way, send me a telegram (to the Federation of Hersfold). Thank you for spending your time to read this. Good luck to you all with your respective countries.

Sincerely,
The Federation of Hersfold

I still think you need to make very obvious what this does, but yeah, I'd vote for it.

Interesting proposal, completely useless in terms of improving the educational system in the DSH (widely regarded as a pinnacle of educational acheivement in our region), but might improve education in other UN nations.

The DSH belives that the proposal deserves to reach quorum.
