The Federation of Nicholandia is planning an invasion of the Moon with the object of removing and/or destroying any and all United Nations presence there.

After this is done, Nicholandia and her allies shall apportion the Moon as they see fit, with the object of forming an environment of pure capitalism.

Well judging by the margin of victory and support for, you can count on 30% of people on your side. Hey, thats not too bad. As for myself, I'm with the 70% majority, which I guess makes me against you.

War in NationStates is a consensual act. Go to the International Incidents forum instead if you want to roleplay, but you can't force anyone (certainly not the UN)

We're impressed, however; usually nations that declare war on the UN have populations of about 5 million, struggling economies and a national shortage of spellchecking software. A powerhouse economy and a population of 140 million is a better start, admittedly, but it's probably worth being aware that the UN has no shortage of states with populations of several billions, with economies and armed forces to match.

And it always amuses me when people assume they'll win against massive odds because their cause is just. Their inevitable pointless deaths can usually be blamed on Hollywood. I like your rallying cry, though. 'Freedom for the Moon! Freedom for me to sell it off to the highest bidder!'

Thats a pretty half-assed idea. My tiny nation of 13 million is increasing defence spending to help counter such an idea. Such a proposal would lead to another World War.

even thought i was against this resolution i am not going to fight the world andbring out about another world war. I will avoid conflict at all cost. But it doesnt mean im not afraid to defend myself which my nation is very prepared to do.

No, not really, you propose to eliminate all U.N. personal on the moon, despite its quite fair and democratic reason for being there, even though its the U.N. that would help facilitate many smaller nations equal opportunity for scientific and social advancement. Also you appear to be proposing to do it in a lethal and consequently hostile manner.

In fact, you sound like you want to carry out some kind of space bourne genocide against the U.N. members. In fact, sounds like your planning what I can only describe as... orbital terrorism?

Quite frankly, against the big U.N. member nations who would invest the most in the moon mission, and the Mods who might be involved, I think we can safely say, what your engaging in would equal national kamikazi action by you and your followes,

Oh yeah, Komokom fears you not, our Geo Stationary Orbital I.G.N.O.R.E. Defence Array System would en-cloud your space transport units with enough I.G.N.O.R.E. fire to put them out of action, naturally, we would only do this hypothetically, after all, we do not engage in R.P.'s except for our U.N. forum character, me.
