I would conquer with this statement. After the the third trimester, Abortions should not take place.

If it is a living creature it would be un ethical to kill it.

I am going to write an abortion proposal, I need feed back, how do you feel about third trimester abortion ban.

It is unethical to abort a fetus once it's reached "living" status, where it could conceivably, live outside the womb.

I completely, utterly, and wholly disagree with your reasoning, in the most absolute terms. Nevertheless, I would support this proposal, for my own reasons.

Hmmm, are these the responding to stimuli like any basic insect/animal mentality or automated response actions to the womb environment e.g brain chemistry alters to lead to action by developing body, example, external pressure on womb leads developing boding to respond with movement while not actually aware as such to the action it is taking, once again, is this a simple demonstation of the bodies permanent auto-mated processes lto maintain homeostasis,

Maybe even equally likely, the, "gee its warm in here, I am feeling warmth/mother/affection/comfort/finality to term of existance here", when suddenly, !shloop! (Hmmm, maybe not best sound-descriptive... :wink: ) birth happens and nasty?/cold?/loud?/Meeep! world appears out of no-where.

Really brain waves are nice, but do we know FOR SURE what they then signify, we COULD be accidentally killing a sentient beings, or we could be doing what equals to shutting down nothing but a simple biological computer.

im not saying the fetus is necessarily sentient at this point, i am saying it is biologically alive. if 6 months isnt enough time for a woman to decide, then i have a bad remark to be made about that woman.

I would definately support a third trimester abortion ban, if it were proposed, this is one of the things I'm most proud of President Bush for making the ban in the US. As a pro-life, republican woman, and I'm not prolife because of religious or political reasons, simply because the thought of what actual happens in an abortion to the fetus, and to the mother makes physically ill and extremely sad to even think about. I have a real problem with the fact that in this day and age when there are so many forms of birth control out there is no reason to use abortion as birth control which happens quite often, granted they are not full proof but thats what abstinence is for, and besides really you shouldn't be having sex if you are not willing to accept the responsibilities of your actions, the number of abortions after rape are very low so that isn't much of a consideration, although for those cases I am slightly more understanding. Having said this do I think that abortion should be illegal period - no, only because the ramifications of that would be so much worse for the health, both mental and physical of women that it really can't be safely eliminated - because people will find a way to do it, with or without the laws approval. But after the 1st trimester the mother really should know that she is pregnant and should have had enough time to make a decision.
