I like the proposal, but I will vote against it. And my main Reason is because it is praticly socialism, there is no competition in racing to Mars or to other Planets. There is no fun in it all. :wink:
But isn't it clear that by shraring our knowledge and working together, it will be many, many times faster for everybody? Instead of every nation working going over the same, one or two inching ahead, mistakes being made in the hurry, mistakes that could cost lives, the nations will all be working on different parts of the any problem, and thus solving any given problem much much faster.
Okay, so perhaps it isn't as "fun", but despite the glamour, it is science. This will immensely speed the process up, terrifically reduce mistakes made, diminish costs, and... well... uh, in conclusion, I probably shouldn't have taken your argument so seriously in the first place... should I?
