calling on all delegates
why is no-one supporting the resolution to ban trafficking? it seems preposterous that this fine idea will be let slip whereas the 'legalise prostitution' bill passed by a large margin. I urge all UN delegates to think about their responsibilities and the aims of the institution and approve this this, so that it might be passed by the UN. there isnt much time left either.

Ive trawled previous resolutions, and it is not covered anywhere, not even explicitly in the general bill of human rights. we urge delegates to support it, and will be lobbying its author to re-admit it should it fail

There are many proposals in the proposals section.
There arent that many, to be fair. Its underneath the 'rights and duties of Un states' on page 1. 2nd prop i believe (under 1st prop)

Just curious, Red Empiric provences. Why is Ban Trafficking necessary when this Resolution has already been passed and is on the books?

Their families are split apart; they are allowed no possessions of their own. They are beaten, chained, and tortured. Therefore, I propose that the following human rights be given to every peoples of this great world: - The right to leave her or his job, given two weeks' notice. - The right to own possessions. - The right to travel freely throughout their country. - The right to bodily safety from one's employer. - The outlawing of the selling or purchasing of people.
