Recognizing that there is so much unhappiness, divorce, misery, loneliness etc. in this forsaken existence - shouldn't we be encouraging partnerships of any kind??
Hence the proposed 28th Amendment to the constitution:
As long as you stay away from underage young adults or children, you can marry anything or anybody you want! Man and Woman/ Woman Woman/ Man Man / Brother and Sister /Man and Tree / Mother and Daughter /Woman and Lawn Ornament / WE DON"T CARE! However, to gain the tax benefits, adoption rights, and civil union rights you must at least marry somebody of your same species. As far as adoption rights, the same standards shall be required as are presently required. {This may be the only federal program that actually works as designed.} You must exhibit a financially and emotionally stable environment to adopt. (As many of you may know - It is very difficult to qualify for this.) There are too many kids who have no parents and are without sufficient love required to grow as a proper human being. Whether they get that affection and attention from 2 mothers, 2 fathers, or a mother and a father, I will bet you that it is completely irrelevant to them!! They want those most HUMAN of needs - attention and love.

I think it is a good law! Of course you must practice whatever sex you want to have with your significant other out of the public eye. That goes without saying though. If you marry your horse, have your conjugal relations in private. Unfortunately, no matter how much you may love your horse, we cannot grant you civil union rights or adoption rights, for the simple reason that we cannot gain the MUTUAL consent or affirmative for such a relationship from anyone unless they have a free will or are cognizant of making such a decision. Currently, only humans are capable of such. But have a ball anyway!
This should clear up all of the invasions of privacy by "DO - GOODERS" across America who would seek to impose their views on what you can or cannot do with your genitalia.
As far as the restriction on marrying children or underage adults, I don't think you need 1/2 a brain to know that the aforementioned are not emotionally, psychologically, or physically ready for such a commitment. Allowing this to take place would do irreparable damage to said individuals. This requires no religious basis to be so obviously self-evident.
